I NEED TO MOW MY GRASS.....JUST HAD TO SHOW YOU DURKES' " FLIPPIN" GRASS! Im actually thinking of transplanting it into a cute pot....putting it by tub by the window! this grass has been so ...like....fun...therapeutic or somethin in the winter! I know it's silly willy....but is that not the joys's of blogging to your close girlfriends!?

LINGUINI WITH CLAM'S!!!!!!

OK SO.......WHY IS IT SOMETHING CAN TURN OUT SO AMAZING FOR JUST YOUR FAMILY BUT WHEN COMPANY IS COMING...IT'S LIKE SOMETIMES NOT AS GOOD OR AS EASY????....WELL THIS RECIPE WAS SO EASY AND SO YUMMY! AND A TOTAL CHANGE FOR US! IM GONA SHARE...
MELT 1/2 CUP BUTTER ( I KNOW ...ALOT BUT IT'S A HUGE CAN OF CLAMS)
WITH 1/4 CUP O.O ( SHORT FOR OLIVE OIL)
SOME SLICED GARLIC ( I USED 4 CLOVES)
A CHOPPED SHALLOT
SAUTE THESE INGREDIENTS TILL TRANSLUCENT
ADD THE LARGE CAN OF CLAMS FROM COSTCO TO THE MIXTURE ( SET THE JUICE ASIDE)
2 TSP OF CAYENNE PEPPER
LOT'S OF SEA SALT AND PEPPER

SOME PARSLEY

AND CONTINUE COOKING ON MEDIUM HEAT

THEN I TOOK SOME SOME FLOUR AND MIXED WITH SOME CLAM JUICE AS THOUGH I WAS MAKING GRAVY.....SO THEN I ADDED THAT AND THE REST OF THE CLAM JUICE AND COOKED FOR A BIT LONGER....ALSO I STARTED MY PASTA A FEW MINUTES AGO PROBABLLY!

I SERVED IT WITH FRESH CHOPPED PARMEASAN AND FINELY CHOPPED GREEEN ONION!

IMPRESSIVE ...IM NOT KIDDIN!!! WHOO WHOO! AMOUR!!!!

I am making matching sweaters for my boyzz! So fun ....but a learning experience forsure! It's called Intarsia Knitting.....Natley taught me ! :) I'm so excited to say the least....What I love is that on my calender for january ( A Healthy Living Calender that I also bought for my sisters so that we all could have the same calender) It saids learn a new craft....this was my new craft! :0) So now im going to learn how to give this lil sweater a neck and some arms....then I will be done!

Yes! One of the activities at Durkes' Gymboree class was to plant seeds....grass....the moral of the story is to make something "G R O W"! So.....he came home with a cup of dirt....and after a week of sitting on my window ledge with a little water here and there! Grass is G R O W I N G!!! Simple and fun! A very simple joy of motherhood! I love watching Durkes learn.....and now.....everything in his world is growing! Even his train is growing! ....funny. To be honest... I am quite enjoying this cup of grass grow in the middle of winter!!!!!
